C.J. Greene

I'm an author turned screenwriter living in Los Angeles, California. I first started my writing career penning short stories and poems for various anthologies. I moved on to online journalism and copywriting to earn an understanding of the more structured side of writing and business. When the itch to write fiction returned, I dove headfirst into the self-publishing world, debuting a series of novellas.

I began writing for film and television in 2014 and have spent the last few years refining my skills in storytelling with each screenplay I finish. My Sci-Fi Action screenplay RELO has received three 8 ratings on the Black List and my Mystery Thriller screenplay QUEEN'S GAMBIT was a second rounder in the 2017 Austin Film Festival. I also placed as a quarter-finalist in the 2019 Page Awards Screenplay Competition with my magical heist feature Scribe.
